Katie Winokur to Participate in Wake Forest University Art Buying Trip

Katie Winokur from Marietta, GA was selected as one of seven students to participate in the Wake Forest University Student art buying trip in New York City from March 13-17.

The buying program is believed to be the only one of its kind in the country, one where students are given the opportunity to purchase works of art which will be added to the University's collection. The goal each year is for the students to purchase the best quality works with the funds available to them which reflect the current times. The trip began in 1963 and occurs every four years.
